Factors affecting burnout in physicians during COVID-19 pandemic

Aim: The COVID-19 outbreak continues to pose a threat people's physical and mental health all over the world. professionals who are directly involved in fight against pandemic may experience stress during this crisis that can cause Burnout Secondary traumatic stress. objective of our study was assess burnout among physicians determine related factors. Materials Methods: A cross-sectional online survey conducted. demographical occupational data were collected using questionnaire level assessed by Maslach Inventory (MBI). Results: 748 took survey. levels stated found be significantly higher than before [median 3 (CDA: 2-4); median 4 (2-5) pandemic; p <0.001]. Personal Accomplishment (PA), Emotional Exhaustion (EE) Depersonalization (D) scores participants providing medical services cases (p <0.05). While EE D highest first step workers, PA third workers. lower man women (p<0.05). Negative correlation between age [r: (-) 0.087; p< 0.017] 0.233; p<0.001] subscale scores. Conclusion: We concluded women, younger, frontline workers had risks for burnout, so individual, structural, organizational arrangements should made giving priority these risky groups.
